Relentless in my pursuit of learning, growing, and creating. Come along for the ride!

These 3 photos all represent different points in the past 3 years since I started Crossfit.

The first was about 4 months into Crossfit. I was training on snow 6 hours a day and straight to the gym for 2 hours. I followed a very strict paleo diet and lost 15lbs, but had no energy. Eventually when snowboard competition season came around I was eating hotel buffets and lots of cheesecake (ha!) and gained most of it back. The next Winter I went strict zone for 4 months and got my abs back but completely crashed without energy due to my diet lacking enough carbs for the training I was doing.

The second, is only about 6 months ago. Last year I spent 6 months off of training due to being sick, and because I was feeling so badly, I ate badly too. #fatnat

The photo on the right is from last week. I've been working with @robynmarie416 for about 4 months now and although nutrition is a constant work in progress, I've finally found something I can stick to and feel good about! I follow #macros and weigh and measure everything I eat. I'm not always perfect, but I'm striving for better everyday. No one diet is perfect for everyone - but I highly recommended @416life_nutrition if you're interested in finding a way that could work for you and your lifestyle! Right now I'm eating for performance and to sustain a higher volume of conditioning work and training and it's been going great. Couldn't do it without ya Robyn! πŸ™ŒπŸ» #nutrition #416life #613 #416 #crossfit #lifestyle #food #macros
